All Paths to God – New Krieg track streaming

‘All Paths to God’, a brand new track from Krieg’s forthcoming album The Isolationist, is streaming on Stereogum’s metal column, Haunting the Chapel. From what I can hear, this is Imperial treading new ground to explosive, unpredictable results. He states: “[The Isolationist] is my ugliest and most personal child, going deep into the darkest places in my own history on earth. I’m a fucked up wreck, and this record shows that.”

Tracklisting:

1. No Future
2. Photographs From An Asylum
3. All Paths to God
4. Ambergeist
5. Depakote
6. Religion III
7. Blue Of Noon
8. Decaying Inhalations
9. An The Stars Fell On
10. Remission
11. Dead Windows
The Isolationist is out on October 26th through Candlelight.

The only Krieg record I've been able to get properly into is The Black House, but it sounds like the dude's got some more tricks up his sleeve. Not really feeling the synth-driven bit at the end, but that dissonant, chromatic 9/8 part at 1:35 and 2:42 is ace!

Yeah I like it a lot. Wasn't sure what to expect but this sounds like a definite step up from previous material. Definitely a Krieg fan myself though.

Is that some DSO influence right there? Nice sense of composure above the majority of the Krieg back catalogue though.

That is a really, really shitty painting. The track was good though, just dissapointed with the lack of inspiration behind artwork at the moment.
