Campaign for Death Metal Purity 2010

Apologies for the death metal binge, I’m getting it out of my system. Gravehill, Cardiac Arrest and Hod lead the way for the Campaign for Death Metal Purity. The tour kicked off yesterday as the brainchild of Ibex Moon Records head and guitarist/vocalist for Incantation, John McEntee:

“With all the trends in Metal these days and all these fest type tours that mostly only highlight the flavor of the month bands. We wanted to put together a tour with 3 strong Death Metal bands that all in their own right have proven themselves to be true warriors of death!!! Each band has forged their own legacy by being 100% true to themselves and it shows with their intense live performances. This is the time to take back our underground scene and show your support to some of Death Metal’s top extreme bands. Death Metal is Eternal Under the Ibex Moon.”

Thanks for sharing! I always get a lump in my throat when I hear about these shows, but since most of our readers are from America I feel duty bound to inform. I wish we could have a truly kickass tour like this go through the UK.

I love your blog btw. I'll add it to our blogroll 😉
