And to celebrate, the band has announced a bumper 10xLP pack consisting of their four LPs and three EPs. It’s limited to 500 copies for release on October 19th via Germany’s Viva Hate Records. They’ve already done a damn fine job of the Enslaved and Opeth box series, so expect nothing but quality. I’m guessing many will already have Pelican’s entire back catalogue so this release is essentially reserved for both die-hards and newcomers to the Chicago quartet’s swarthy instrumental sludge. Additional festivities will include two dates with the legendary Goatsnake on October 23rd and 30th at The Bottom Lounge in Chicago and The Troubador in LA respectively. Viva la Pelican.
Don't Pelican have their own beer or something?
